Studio "Mommy & Me" is a welcoming, supportive, relaxing and luxurious environment where expectant mothers,
new moms and their babies can meet, interact and learn new skills.

The studio, located in the tranquil and green village of Maccabim, offers professional services
and specialized programs that help mothers and babies develop and bond.

Join our intimate "Mommy & Me" community and find new friends, learn new skills 
and be a part of our mom to mom support group.

"Mommy & Me" is owned and run by Iris Bar-Ner, a Registered Nurse in both the
US and Israel, with extensive experience specializing in well baby care.
Iris is a certified baby massage, baby yoga and pelvic floor rehabilitation instructor
and a certified breast feeding counselor.
 

Our programs

Baby Massage

Treat you and your baby to a loving touch that will leave you both feeling peaceful, happy, and completely re-energized. Infant Massage is one of the most enjoyable and effective physical treatment you can share with your baby. It improves circulation, strengthens immunity, enhances neurological development, and stimulates digestion, providing relief of gas and colic. It brings your baby to a state of quiet alertness.
The class consists of 4 sessions and is based on the principles of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) and during our classes you will learn 40 different massage strokes from the world of Indian and Swedish Massage which have been specifically adapted for babies. In each session we will focus on a different part of the baby's body and we will discuss various relevant topics – for example: coping with Colic and crying, sleep and babies, massage for the growing baby etc.

Age: 4 weeks until crawling                      
"Touch, Movement and Music

This course is perfect for Moms who may not have the time to do the separate Baby Massage and Baby Yoga courses but who want to experience the benefits. This 6 session course will engage your baby and yourself in the wonderful world of yoga, Feldenkrais and baby massage. The baby yoga routine is an easy to follow routine, it is something that you can practice anytime and anywhere, babies love it and they benefit from it during this crucial stage of development.  What you can expect from the class:
- Yoga routines that have been specially adapted for babies, including twists and stretches.
-  Mommy and baby relaxation techniques
-  Routines, songs and dancing that encourage babies to stay on their tummies, "cross the mid line" and  improve their sense of balance.
- Mom-baby joint routines ("tinokima") – very enjoyable exercises for both mommy and baby that strengthen mom's pelvic floor and give the baby a new point of view on the world around him/her
- massaging your baby according to the IAIM techninque (Indian base with Swedish touches).

Guzalim group for Ages: 4 weeks until 5 months

Baby Yoga

This is a class for moms to share with babies up to 6-months or crawling (whichever comes first).
For five consecutive classes, each an hour long, we will engage your baby and yourself in the wonderful world of
yoga and Feldenkrais. The baby yoga routine is an easy to follow routine, it is something that you can practice

babies love it and they benefit from it during this crucial stage of development.

close skin to skin contact, praise, encouragement and mutual enjoyment that you will take away from this class.
